We have 3 floors in our house and the third is a converted loft which is semi open which we use as an office. It is honestly only really easy to hear/cool from March-June and October-November, plus I have to carry my supplies I want to keep with me up and down a very narrow and steep spiral staircase, so I end up just using the dining area downstairs and taking it over... Well for my birthday my husband created a little “cozy journaling desk” area in our bedroom and it is definitely got me back into journaling more frequently. :)
100% agree with your list. The thing I'm clinging to right now as the season gets busy is staying consistent with annotating how I'm feeling that day in just a few words. That practice brings closure to my day, calms my mind.
I am new to the journaling world. I am starting to add different fonts/writing styles to my “dear journal” type of journaling. (I got my first brush pen and am practicing hand lettering). And a catch all journal that I take all sorts of notes in from thoughts to notes on books I’m reading. But I enjoy journaling on my coffee table that pulls up to be chest high right across from my Christmas tree 🤎
WHAT a list! Your storefront will be what's saving my life next time I need some journalling supplies!
as i made it, i was like “the person who will get the most mileage out of this is caitlin” hahahahah
Buying old planners in February?? GENIUS. Filing that idea away for later.
THEY ARE ALWAYS SO CHEAP AT INDIGO, ALLIE, AND SO BEAUTIFUL!

Ah I love that! Sometimes having the right spot for something so much more enjoyable to do the thing. I love this for you!!

Also I have been trying to value being persistent over being consistent.
Mmmmm, I love that! What does being persistent vs. being consistent look like to you in practical terms? I AM SO INSPIRED BY THIS!
